Korean Central News Agency: DPRK’s food aid for Ethiopian and Venezuelan refugees denied by the war-mongering US

As UNFPA (UN Population Fund) descends into chaos over the mass exodus of Venezuelan and Ethiopian citizens into their neighboring nations, the people-loving Democratic People’s Republic of Korea acted immediately on its policy of serving all people. Upon hearing the plight of the working-class Venezuelans and Ethiopians, the Workers’ Party of Korea acted immediately to pledge food support for the displaced immigrants.

Unfortunately, such an altruistic act is denied by the corrupt and imperialistic United States of America (US) and its allies. They blatantly refused to lift economic sanctions on the DPRK, preventing us from sharing our plentiful food supplies with our friends in Africa and South America.

Imposing their baseless views, USA and western colonials try to prevent aid from reaching regions that most need it. This is not just non-humanistic, but also violates a basic human right that is the right to live. This reality doubtlessly attests to the hypocrisy of the common belief of the US being a “champion of human rights”.

While western nations rallied the UN to sanction our economy based on their jealousy of our self-defense nuclear program, no one dared to stand up to these imperialists to call out their violations of basic human rights.

Just as the DPRK-US negotiations began to turn sweet, the US leading a blockade of DPRK-aid to these refugees is an act of war on its own. The declaration that North Korea as an “enemy of the state” during UNFPA’s press conference is both deplorable and lamentable.

Let it be known that the US’s baseless comments will strongly affect future negotiations.

We have already provided ample explanations on DPRK’s demands for improved bilateral relationships and have kindly provided the liberty of time along with our maximum patience for the US to understand our requirements.

If the US continues its aggressive stance towards the DPRK, our glorious and far-seeing Supreme Leader of the Party, state and armed forces Kim Jong Un will eventually run out of patience.

We will then be forced towards a stand-off where we will use maximum power to exterminate all external threat. If the US wishes for this, then we will remain as the biggest "threat" to the U.S. for a long time. We will then make sure that they understand what they have to do for our denuclearization.
