UNFPA fails to recognise the loopholes in their solutions, ignored the several assassinations that took place!
The United Nations Population Fund is a MESS! Delegates are unable to come up with effective solutions, and all they know is to ask mighty United States for funding. Ironic and simply abhorrent!
The delegates of Yemen, Egypt and Uganda all mentioned that there should be more funding for hospitals, medical workers, and humanitarian aid. How dare these filthy third world countries demand for funding!! They can’t even feed their own people and yet have the nerve to ask for funding. Moreover, their unrealistic solutions are definitely going to be in vain.
Firstly, when asked about what the FPA intends to do to alleviate the crisis, the delegates of Yemen, Myanmar and Uganda both said that they propose to build more healthcare facilities outside of the conflict zones, and to ask the international community for more humanitarian aid. With that being said, the world now has a major health crisis ― myopia. These myopic nations do not seem to see how 450 hospitals have already been bombed in Syria, and it is costly to replace the infrastructure and equipment, not forgetting the fact that they will get shot down or bombed again, despite being out of the conflict zone. Furthermore, as they are located outside of the conflict zone, this will simply lead to the spreading and expansion of the conflict zones, luring more troops into “safe areas”.
Also, they do not see how adding healthcare aids do not alleviate the situation, but only worsen it and cause additional damage. With the facilities and supplies located outside of conflict zones, how will the people in the conflict zone be able to receive treatment in time before they die due to excessive bleeding. Worse still, when the delegate of Myanmar was asked what the FPA will do about these helpless refugees, he replied, “That is not our problem”. This is simply such a nefarious thing for a UN Organ to say!
Now, the question is whether the FPA wants to help the people, or resolve their own internal conflicts. Delegates were still arguing on the abovementioned solutions, and shouting at nations to provide funding in the unmoderated caucus. They straight out forgot about the crisis in Venezuela, where multiple assassinations have taken place, and the African racial crisis, where the Oromo are being called out and discriminated.
Thankfully, the Land of Liberty intervened and came up with amazing solutions no one could think of. He proposed working within the mandate of the FPA, which many other delegates could not understand, and proposed solutions outside of the jurisdiction of the FPA. The delegate of the USA mentioned that the FPA should work together with other UN bodies (appealing to the Security Council for the deployment of Peacekeepers), governmental organisations (for cooperation in peacekeeping, humanitarian aid and funding matters) and Non-Governmental Organisations such as Doctors Without Borders, for the provision of medical aid.
The United States will require the support and cooperation of all other nations, else no funding or troops will be provided.
